We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality psychological solutions to children, young people, and their families who experience difficulties with mental health.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Consultant Psychologist in developing psychological thinking within the team and undertaking service development projects.
- Provide clinical supervision to Assistant Psychologists and Psychological Therapists.
- Contribute to the development of care pathways for a wide range of mental health difficulties, including depression and anxiety, trauma, functional and somatic symptoms, self-harming behaviours, challenging behaviours, and eating disorders.
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, registration with the Health Care and Professionals Council (HCPC), and professional knowledge acquired through doctoral training. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups, as well as knowledge of broad occupational guidelines and legislation in relation to the specialist client group and mental health.
