We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced arboricultural team member to join our team at North Lanarkshire Council.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience of all aspects of arboriculture, including tree care and maintenance, pruning and removal, and disease management.

About the Opportunity

This is a great chance to work with a dedicated team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing the beautiful parks and green spaces in our area.

You will work four days a week, with a four-day weekend every second week, and enjoy generous terms and conditions, including 27 days annual leave and 6 public holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert arboricultural services, including tree care and maintenance, pruning, and removal.
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the beautiful parks and green spaces in our area.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements

  • Safety Qualified SVQ Level 2 professional arboricultural qualification or Higher equivalent.
  • Valid UK Driving License required prior to commencing the role.
  • Extended experience in all aspects of arboriculture.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety matters related to arboriculture.
