Job Title: Environmental ForesterWe are seeking a skilled Environmental Forester to join our arboricultural team at North Lanarkshire Council. Responsibilities:
- To conduct tree inspections and assessments, identifying potential issues and developing plans to address them.
- To implement pruning and other maintenance activities to ensure the health and safety of trees and woodlands.
- To collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects and initiatives that benefit our community.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an SVQ Level 2 professional arboricultural qualification is required, along with a driving licence including categories B+E.
- Successful candidates must also achieve CS 38 & 39 Tree Climbing & Aerial Tree Rescue qualification within 3 months of appointment.
