Job Summary

The Financial Planning Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client. This key position requires an individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic guidance on budget management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Revenue Budget: Develop and maintain the Group revenue budget, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company targets.
  • Monthly Management Accounts: Compile and present the monthly management accounts package, highlighting key variances and providing insights for informed decision-making.
  • Cashflow Forecasting: Create and update cashflow forecasts to support financial planning and ensure liquidity.
  • Funding Body Returns: Collaborate with the Financial Accountant to complete funding body returns, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Budget Management: Hold regular meetings with budget holders to discuss variances, provide guidance, and support effective budget management.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: CCAB Qualified or significant relevant experience is essential; degree-level education or leadership/management qualifications are desirable.
  • Skills: Proven experience in project management, working with senior decision-makers, and collaborating with loosely-structured groups.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel functions.
  • Presentation and Communication: Strong analytical mindset, flexible to change, and capable of presenting ideas in a user-friendly manner.
  • Time Management: Self-motivated with a commitment to high-quality outcomes and the ability to meet deadlines.
