Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Necropsy Scientist to join our team at Labcorp. As a Trainee Necropsy Scientist, you will work within the Necropsy department, performing routine macroscopic necropsy techniques, trimming and retaining organs, and handling animals.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level in a biology-related subject and have a strong interest in science, particularly anatomy. Anatomy and dissection experience are beneficial but not necessary as full training will be provided. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills and knowledge in necropsy techniques and histology.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine macroscopic necropsy techniques, including trimming and retaining organs
  2. Handle animals with care and attention to detail
  3. Contribute to the development of our Necropsy and Histology team
  4. Participate in training and professional development opportunities
