Exciting Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at PSR Solutions, a pioneering ground stabilisation and enabling solutions contractor. As a specialist contractor on major infrastructure projects, you will be part of a team delivering Full Turnkey enabling works solutions including temporary works, earthworks, permanent stabilisation / ground improvement and civil engineering works.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial administration of contracts, working closely with the Commercial Director and wider team to price and tender new contracts. You will also be responsible for monitoring and reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme, agreeing monthly payment valuations, and processing variations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full commercial administration of contracts
  • Working with Commercial Director and wider team to price and tender new contracts
  • Monitoring & reviewing progress on site in line with commercials and programme
  • Agreeing monthly payment valuations
  • Agreeing instructions, change and processing variations
  • Take-off's and Remeasurement
  • Attending client and project progress meetings
  • Agreeing Final Accounts
Requirements:
  • Degree or HNC/HND Quantity Surveying or construction related qualification
  • 10 years' experience working on civil engineering, enabling works &/or ground stabilisation projects
  • Sector experience within either Power, Water, Gas, Rail or Highways
  • Experienced in self-delivery of projects from award to final accounts
  • Able to produce quotations from drawings, price variations, do Take-Offs and remeasure
  • Well organised, diligent, self-motivated, and proactive
  • Full UK driving license
