Quantity Surveyor Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a pioneering ground stabilisation and enabling solutions contractor, with flexibility to work between the office, site, and home.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Full commercial administration of contracts, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  2. Collaborate with the Commercial Director and wider team to price and tender new contracts, leveraging expertise in civil engineering and enabling works.
  3. Monitor and review progress on site, aligning with commercial and programme requirements.
  4. Attend client and project progress meetings, providing updates and insights.
  5. Agree final accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Requirements:
  1. Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related field.
  2. 5-10 years of experience working on civil engineering, enabling works, and/or ground stabilisation projects.
  3. Sector experience within Power, Water, Gas, Rail, or Highways.
  4. Proven ability to self-deliver projects from award to final accounts.
  5. Full UK driving license.
