Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engaging lessons that promote student engagement.
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants and parents to ensure consistent implementation of strategies.
  • Regularly track and document student progress to inform teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching SEN children, particularly those with severe learning difficulties and autism.
  • Experience with the EQUALS curriculum is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with non-linear developmental assessment frameworks (e.g., Routes for Learning, SCERTS) is advantageous.
  • Passion for working with SEN children.
  • Ability to manage Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
