We are now seeking a talented Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our major programme of construction works in Port Talbot, South Wales.
This project will involve heavy construction and civil engineering works, requiring a high level of expertise in health, safety, and wellbeing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of this project, ensuring that our team members return home safely at the end of each day.
We offer a competitive salary of £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes flexible working arrangements, performance-related progression opportunities, and a comprehensive rewards scheme.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a senior health, safety, and wellbeing professional to lead our HSW department. You will be responsible for reducing risks and creating positive working environments across our projects. Your goal will be to achieve industry-leading HSW performance, focusing on five key areas: competence, process, culture, compliance, and learning.
- You must have strong people leadership skills, experience in complex Construction or Civil Engineering projects, and proficiency in Word and Excel.
- A proactive approach to your own learning and development is essential, as well as the ability to manage direct reports.
- Ideal candidates will be located in South Wales, within daily travelling distance of Port Talbot.
