Job Summary

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk at Route 1, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, processing invoices, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchase ledger, processing invoices and maintaining financial records.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of payment runs and maintain an up-to-date schedule of payments due.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice queries and payment issues.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Packages.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.

Salary: £26,000 per annum, based on experience.
