Childcare Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join our team at the London Borough of Lewisham. As a Childcare Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and representation to Social Services clients in child protection cases.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for Senior Social Care Lawyers
  • Handle a demanding caseload of child protection cases, with opportunities for advocacy in the Central Family Court
  • Advise Social Services clients on relevant legislation
  • Prepare legal documentation and court documents
  • Attend meetings with clients and external parties
  • Carry out legal research

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Childcare Lawyer to join a dynamic and friendly Legal Team. Our client is looking for a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE, preferably from a local authority setting, but open to applicants from private practice who want to transfer their skills.
