We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to support our team of solicitors. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative assistance with a wide range of legal matters.
This role involves preparing various legal documents, managing case files, conducting research, and liaising with clients. You will also handle general administrative duties for the fee earner, such as answering calls, managing correspondence and maintaining schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and draft legal documents
- Navigate land registry and handle post-completion registrations
- Organise, manage and maintain case files for easy access and reference
- Maintain effective communication with clients, handling inquiries promptly
- Provide administrative support, including answering calls, managing correspondence and maintaining schedules
Skill Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Legal Secretary in conveyancing is essential
- Strong understanding of legal procedures, terminology and principles
- Able to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Professionalism, integrity and a strong work ethic
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
