About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Academic Mentor. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success of our disadvantaged students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one academic support to students, helping them to overcome barriers to success
  • Set and work towards goals with students, monitoring progress and providing regular feedback
  • Liaise closely with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive support network
  • Develop and implement effective tutoring strategies to meet the needs of individual students
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of our ACE tutoring program
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
  • Excellent academic knowledge and understanding of the curriculum
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual support
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
