Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Belong. As a key member of our household support team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver high-quality domestic services that meet the needs of our customers and uphold the core values of Belong.
  • To respond to individual customer needs for domestic support and maintain household accommodation.
  • To assist the team with housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry tasks.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate qualities that deliver Belong's vision and values.
  • Communicate clearly and have a professional manner.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs and team goals.
  • Prioritise tasks and complete them to the required standard and in a timely manner.
  • Undertake moving & handling of loads, including using specialist equipment.
  • Undertake housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry, using relevant equipment.
  • Complete written work records.
  • Focused on customer care, with a desire to serve others.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety requirements and product safety advice sheets and procedures.
  • Reliable, with ability to fulfil contracted hours and work patterns.
  • Diploma/NVQ 2 in Cleaning & Building Interiors or equivalent (Essential or working/prepared to work towards).
  • Commercial or domestic cleaning experience.
