About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Mental Wellness Professional to join our team at Academics. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children, therapists, and psychologists to provide top-notch support and care.

The ideal candidate will possess a Graduate degree in a relevant field, have Level 3 qualifications+, and experience working with SEN children or adults. If you are passionate about mental health and well-being, we encourage you to apply.

About Academics:

Academics is a leading provider of education and training services. We are committed to delivering high-quality support and care to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver social and emotional mental health support to children aged 5-16
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify individual needs
  • Develop and implement tailored support plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, counselling)
  • Level 3 qualifications+
  • Experience working with SEN children or adults
  • Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour

Salary: £85-£95 per day (full-time Mon-Fri 8.30am to 4pm)
