Special Education Teacher for Physical Education

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified SEN and SEMH Physical Education Teacher to join our team at one of our client schools in Ashford, Kent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver PE lessons to primary and secondary classes of pupils with ASC, Complex needs, Challenging Behaviour, SEN, and SEMH.
- Manage pupil behaviour through escalation techniques with patience and resilience.
- Develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver interesting and inspiring lessons that engage all pupils.
- Adhere to EHCP's and contribute to safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
- Valid teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS.
- Experience working with SEN and SEMH pupils.
- Full UK driver's license and own car.
- Ability to develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Clean DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
