About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Autism Practitioner/Teaching Assistant to join our team at Baston House School in Bromley. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education support services to our students with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher/tutor in delivering a high-quality education to students with autism
  • Implement education policies and procedures to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students
  • Provide individualized support to students to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
  • Promote the physical, educational, and moral development of our students
  • Ensure the efficient use and maintenance of equipment and resources
  • Support the class teacher/tutor in organizing the classroom and its resources to create a stimulating learning environment
  • Assist in writing, updating, and implementing documentation related to individual students, including Behaviour Support Profiles and Individual Education Plans

  • GCSE English and Maths qualifications
