Job Description

As a Clinical Care Manager within our Care in The Home service, you will be responsible for leading a team of Support Workers in providing high-quality care to clients with complex needs. This role requires excellent clinical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for working in care settings.

The successful candidate will have experienced clinical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and their families.

  • This is a qualified nurse role, requiring either a Registered Children's Nurse or a Registered Nurse with experience in children's care.
  • The Clinical Care Manager will work Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, from a home-based location with travel across designated regions, including Sussex, Crawley, Burgess Hill, Worthing, Chichester, Midhurst, Eastbourne, Hailsham.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Complete Competency-based training to equip Support Workers with the necessary skills to support clients with complex needs.
  2. Delegate approved clinical skills to Support Workers and Care Managers through training and assessment, ensuring safe and effective service provision.
  3. Work collaboratively with the Care Manager team to plan ahead and ensure delegation of skills requirements within the region are met.
  4. Evidence delegation of clinical skills to Support Workers and other team members in line with company policy.
  5. Conduct annual observations of Support Workers and Care Managers within the workplace.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration (Registered Children's Nurse / Registered Nurse).
  • A legal right to work in the U.K.
  • A full driving licence with a personal vehicle.
