About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our Mental Health Service team at The Lookout in Winchester. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to maximize their potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to customers, promoting positive mental health and well-being
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and support plans, ensuring customer needs are met
  • Deliver small group activities to promote recovery and well-being, using your creativity and expertise
  • Build professional relationships with customers, using clear and empathetic communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are maintained

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working with adults with mental health needs
  • Ability to relate and empathise with people with mental health issues
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages and internet communications
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards
