About the Role

We are seeking an experienced consultant to join our Post Transaction Team, specializing in pension risk transfer projects. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition of pension schemes to buy-out and wind-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist schemes in navigating the move from buy-in to buy-out and ultimate wind-up
  • Build relationships with clients, their advisers, and insurers to ensure a smooth transition
  • Project manage the process to ensure timely completion and give peace of mind to clients
  • Find pragmatic solutions to any issues that arise
  • Support clients in moving their schemes to ultimate wind-up within desired timescales
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in a pensions consulting environment or with a bulk annuity provider
  • Proven experience of insurer post-transaction processes and wider aspects of pension scheme wind-ups
  • Excellent UK pensions technical knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements around wind-ups
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to develop detailed project plans and drive forward completion of tasks against timescales
  • Capable of strategic thinking and suggesting solutions, while recognizing potential risks and issues
