About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at ICE Recruit. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing structural engineering projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement structural engineering designs, taking into account building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.

Requirements:

  • Chartered (or near) Member of IStructE and/or ICE.
  • Extensive structural engineering design and project-running experience in UK consultancy.
  • Design-focused with a strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
