Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide vital support to Year 5 pupils with SEN and SEMH needs. The successful candidate will have experience working with children with SEN or SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting, and possess a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEN and SEMH needs within the Year 5 classroom.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher to adapt and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Support pupils in managing their emotions, behavior, and social interactions in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of the pupils you support.
  • Promote inclusion and help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment for all pupils.
