About the Role

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is a leading healthcare provider in the UK, employing over 40,000 staff in various clinical and non-clinical professions. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide and facilitate comprehensive, coordinated, and effective care and treatment for patients with Upper GI benign disease. This will involve:

  • Leadership and facilitation of care delivery
  • Teaching and education of patients and healthcare professionals
  • Research and audit to improve care outcomes
  • Consultation and provision of expert advice
  • Development of hospital-wide Upper GI based nursing policies and protocols
Requirements

Applicants must be a Registered Nurse on the NMC Register with extensive surgical nursing experience and a good level of knowledge of benign and other Upper GI conditions. Further training or qualifications related to benign Upper GI disease would be advantageous.
