About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Navigo Health and Social Care CIC. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users with all aspects of their care, including activities and personal care.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver care within the environment, assisting in the development of all aspects of care for older people with mental health problems.
- Participate in the delivery of individualised planned programmes of care.
- Support service users with daily living tasks, such as dressing, washing, and toileting.
- Assist with recreational activities aimed at creating a supportive atmosphere where patients can achieve maximum independence.
- Observe patients' general condition and report any changes to the appropriate health professional.
Person Specification
- Basic understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and DoLs.
- Basic written communication skills to enable completion of records.
- NVQ level II or a willingness to undertake this or a certificate in Mental Health.
