About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Barnet.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting students with SEN and wants to make a real difference in their lives.

You will work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to implement tailored learning plans and create a nurturing environment that supports the diverse needs of students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, prior experience in a SEN support role, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide tailored support and assistance with academic and social development to individual students or small groups.
  2. Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to implement personalised learning plans.
  3. Create and maintain a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of students.
  4. Contribute to the monitoring and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to the teaching team and participating in review meetings.
About the Location:

This role is based in Barnet, North London, which offers excellent transport links to central London.

The location is easily accessible by public transport, and there are plenty of amenities nearby, including shops, restaurants, and parks.

Salary: £28,500 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
