About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Chef to join our team at Lake View Residential Care Home. As a key member of our culinary team, you will work closely with the Chef Manager to prepare and serve high-quality meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Monitor and maintain food safety and hygiene standards, carrying out risk assessments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard.
  • Interact with residents, visitors, and colleagues in a friendly and approachable manner, promoting a positive dining experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager to plan and implement menus, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
