Care and Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Care and Wellbeing Specialist to join our Learning Disability Services team at Waterside Specialist Support. This dynamic and fast-paced role involves working with individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks, including feeding and administering medication. With full training provided, this is an excellent opportunity for those looking to develop their skills and make a real difference in the lives of others.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting individuals with autism, learning disabilities and complex care needs. A key aspect of this role is building positive relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and preferences, and delivering tailored support that enhances their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Providing one-to-one support to individuals with autism, learning disabilities and complex care needs
- Assisting with daily living tasks, including feeding and administering medication
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues
This role offers a competitive salary of £13 per hour, as well as a comprehensive package of benefits, including 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays, sick pay, pension, wellbeing scheme, career development opportunities, extensive training programme, free staff parking, and access to industry-specific discount schemes.
