Join a pioneering team at DATS Recruitment Ltd as we seek a highly skilled Process Engineer / Chemical Engineer to drive the transition towards a carbon-neutral future.

This exciting opportunity is based near Ellesmere Port and offers a unique blend of office and hybrid working, with 2 days from home and flexible working hours.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering process design and analysis for various projects, ensuring they meet the customer's functional requirements while adhering to high standards and timelines.

Occasional travel to European suppliers and other client sites is required, and the successful candidate will need to obtain SC-level security clearance.

We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with a minimum of three years' post-graduate experience who are eager to develop their careers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing high-quality technical reports and specifications
  • Providing innovative technical solutions, including design substantiation, calculations, and underpinning data
  • Analysing plant process and test data, developing validated performance models for equipment and systems
  • Contributing to project proposals with schedules and cost forecasts
  • Managing project deliverables and providing clear status updates to stakeholders

A degree in Chemical Engineering (2:1 or above) or equivalent is required, as well as demonstrated experience in Process or Chemical Engineering design.
