Job Title: Mechanical Process Design Engineer

Location: Office based

Salary: £42,000 to £48,000 per annum

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Process Design Engineer to join our team at EC&I Partners Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for hazardous areas, ensuring compliance with ATEX regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for hazardous areas, ensuring compliance with ATEX regulations
  • Liaise with clients and sub-suppliers to provide technical support and deliver projects on time
  • Undertake design reviews and attend design review meetings to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Specify project materials and manage build queries for both workshop and site work

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Knowledge and experience of the design life cycles of a project
  • Awareness of the regulations and standards applicable to Mechanical/Process systems
  • Experience of working within the process, oil & gas and petrochemical industry
