Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team at NonStop Consulting Ltd. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster families and ensuring the well-being of children and young people in their care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a small caseload of 10-12 foster families, providing guidance and support to foster parents and children.
- Work closely with therapists, other social workers, and educational experts to ensure children receive the right treatment and support.
- Conduct regular visits to foster families, assessing their needs and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with the out-of-hours team to ensure seamless support for foster families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with foster families, social workers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Supervising Social Worker in a therapeutic foster care setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development, child protection, and foster care policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
