We're looking for a creative, resourceful, and adaptable marketing professional who can help us achieve our financial targets, increase audience engagement, and participant recruitment. As a Marketing & Communications Officer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing and communications strategies, both print and digital, to position Made By Mortals' work as a leader in our sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to achieve our financial targets and increase audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with our creative team to amplify lived experience knowledge and attract investment in our productions.
  • Manage and maintain our social media presence, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
  • Write high-quality, engaging, and targeted copy for print and digital platforms.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of marketing and communications campaigns, including project-specific initiatives and new business development.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the health and care, arts, and/or events sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work under their own initiative.
  • Confident communicator with an open attitude and flexible approach.
  • Natural team player with a fun and friendly demeanor.

Essential Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Experience in a wide range of content creation, including writing, design, and video production.
  • Excellent understanding of different social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our creative team to develop engaging content.
  • Proven ability to write high-quality, engaging, and targeted copy across print and digital platforms.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: Band G, £32,076 - £36,648 (0.8 pro rata if taken on 4 days p/w)

Hours: 5 days/week
