Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Chargehand to lead a team of warehouse operatives in our busy ambient and freezer warehouse based in Newton Abbot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for effectively leading and managing a team to achieve operational excellence.
The Role
As a Warehouse Chargehand at the Newton Abbot Distribution Centre, you will be expected to:
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stock discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
