Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Chargehand to lead our team of warehouse operatives at our Newton Abbot Distribution Centre.
The RoleAs a Warehouse Chargehand, you will be responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that daily picks are actioned in a timely manner, and assisting with the picking and loading of goods for next day deliveries.
You will also be responsible for:
- Ensuring good stock rotation at all times
- Carrying out stock taking periodically and cyclical counts
- Ensuring highest standards of housekeeping are maintained
We are looking for someone with experience of working within a warehouse environment, who possesses a forklift licence (although training can be provided) and is physically fit due to the nature of the role, which includes heavy lifting.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues and have a strong attention to detail.
