Mechanical Services Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Services Engineer to join our team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a Mechanical Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient maintenance of the mechanical services and equipment within the hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance to a wide range of Plant and Equipment.
- Ensuring work requests are managed and processed out of normal working hours.
- Managing the work team out of normal working hours.
- Taking a proactive approach to the development and review of Health & Safety systems, work instructions and working practices.
- Actively participating in the Computerised Labour Control System, including accurate and punctual completion of Work Order Documentation.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have completed a recognised appropriate Engineering Apprenticeship or other relevant structured Training Program, appropriate City & Guilds and/or BTEC certification. You will need proven experience of working in a similar environment and sound knowledge and understanding of Mechanical Building Services. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and great customer service skills.
