Exciting Opportunity in Children's Social Work

We are seeking a qualified Social Worker to join our Fostering Team at Oldham Council. As a key member of our team, you will provide ongoing support and supervision to foster carers and their families, maintaining detailed records of children and young people's progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support and supervision to foster carers and their families
  • Maintaining detailed records of children and young people's progress
  • Attending meetings, child care statutory reviews, and care planning meetings
  • Collaborating with foster parents and social workers to manage contact between children and their birth families

Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification or equivalent
  • Social Work England registered
  • Enhanced DBS
