Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to join our Neuro team at the London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to our consultants.

About the Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of hybrid working once probation is passed. You will work from our main base at The Shard but also be expected to cover clinics at our Harley Street location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full secretarial support to our consultants, including audio-typing sensitive materials while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Manage patient appointments, liaise with patients and hospital staff as required, and arrange admissions and investigations using hospital data systems.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including filing and preparation of relevant clinic notes prior to outpatient clinics.
Requirements
  • Previous medical secretarial experience.
  • Significant understanding of medical terminology.
  • Audiotyping skills are essential.
  • Strong attention to detail, accurate typing, and letter proof-reading skills.
  • Computer literacy and excellent communication skills.
Salary and Benefits
