We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor to join our dynamic team at the Early Intervention Psychosis Team in Tonna Hospital.
As an Occupational Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, treatment, and intervention services to individuals accessing the EIP service, under the supervision and guidance of an Occupational Therapist.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing therapeutic occupations for individuals and groups of patients
- Assisting Occupational Therapists in the provision of assessment and treatment
- Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Traveling to various sites, including community, patient homes, and third-sector services
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is passionate about quality patient care and has the ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the service.
As a valued member of our team, you will have access to clinical supervision, support to gain an Agored Occupational Therapy Diploma, and in-service training.
