Job Overview

Become an integral part of Britvic's team as an Equipment Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance standards, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. Your key objective will be to minimize downtime, maintain quality, and promote a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out duties with a focus on Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality procedures, as part of the Integrated Management System.
  • Adhere to Legal and Statutory Requirements, including PUWER, Electricity at Work, DSEAR, PSSR, COSHH, LOLER, CDM, Asbestos, Ionising Radiation, Confined Spaces, Work at Height.
  • Promote a safe working environment by ensuring full compliance with Britvic SHE and LOTO processes and policies, including Permit to Work.
  • Allocate maintenance work to engineers, planning adequate time on asset care windows for all engineering tasks.
  • Ensure your team is trained to the correct standard, creating development plans where needed to upskill and increase capability.
  • Attend weekly prioritization meetings, contribute to asset care window planning, and provide feedback on maintenance processes.
  • Perform planned maintenance tasks within the CMMS (SAP PM).
  • Carry out shutdown work during weekly asset care windows and annual planned maintenance outages, collaborating with external suppliers and service providers.
Requirements
  • A minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification and preferably an HNC in a relevant Engineering discipline, or equivalent. Ideally, experience in a multi-disciplined (mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, software) background with a time-served apprenticeship in a manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental aspects, including Food Safety.
Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum
