Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist at Sheffield Children's Hospital. As a member of our Special Schools Team, you will be responsible for providing a highly specialised service to children and adolescents with complex and chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and manage children and adolescents with a range of chronic, complex, and life-limiting conditions.
- Act as a source of expertise, demonstrating advanced knowledge and experience in the management of children with neurological and developmental dysfunction and orthopaedic conditions.
- Provide specialist advice to other inter-agency professional staff and provide clinical education and training to others.
- Take a lead role in the management of complex cases with a multi-disciplinary team approach.
Person Specification
In addition to experience, all qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
- Relevant qualifications and registration with the relevant registration body.
- HCPC registration.
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Significant and relevant experience in neurodisability.
