Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide site-wide engineering support for escalated technical issues related to manufacturing plant, equipment, and process.
Your Responsibilities- Provide engineering support for all escalated technical issues related to manufacturing plant, equipment, and process.
- Participate in equipment improvement programmes and process improvement initiatives.
- Support maintenance and third-party activities in PLC modification or troubleshooting.
- Identify effective preventative action and root cause for equipment failures and ensure open Quality records and CAPA are closed within agreed site KPI targets.
- Raise engineering-related change controls as required and manage changes in an effective and timely manner.
- Introduce or modify process equipment, including generation of associated documentation.
- HNC or HND in an engineering discipline or several years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to perform root cause investigations and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of process equipment, specification, procurement, design review, test, install, commission, and validation.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (cGMP) or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead projects - both new process equipment and modification of existing.
- Effective communication skills with peers, leadership teams, and vendors.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six-Sigma is desirable.
