Manufacturing Engineer

Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics Products Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Llanberis. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by providing technical expertise and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for resolving escalated technical issues related to equipment and processes. You will actively participate in projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and streamlining production workflows. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
Your Expertise:
- A strong foundation in engineering principles with a HNC or HND qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough root cause investigations and implement effective troubleshooting techniques.
- In-depth understanding of process equipment, including specification, procurement, design review, testing, installation, commissioning, and validation.
- Experience working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment (cGMP) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing projects, both new equipment installations and modifications to existing systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise interaction with colleagues, management, and vendors.
- Familiarity with Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies is a valuable asset.
