About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a key member of our engineering team, you will provide site-wide engineering support for escalated engineering issues and play a lead role in driving equipment improvement programs and initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support for all escalated technical issues related to manufacturing plant, equipment, and process to ensure a high level of utilization.
  • Participate in equipment improvement programs and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support maintenance and third-party activities in PLC modification or troubleshooting.
  • Identify effective preventative actions and root causes for equipment failures and ensure open quality records and CAPA are closed within agreed site KPI targets.
  • Raise engineering-related change controls as required and manage changes in an effective and timely manner.
  • Introduce or modify process equipment, including generation of associated documentation.

Your Expertise:

  • A HNC or HND in an engineering discipline or several years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to perform root cause investigations and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Understanding of process equipment, specification, procurement, design review, test, install, commission, and validation.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry (cGMP) or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lead projects - both new process equipment and modification of existing.
  • Effective communication skills with peers, leadership teams, and vendors.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six-Sigma is desirable.
