We are working with a highly entrepreneurial private investment firm based in London. Unconstrained by fund investment horizons, they favour a long-term approach to partnering with management, seeking to make a material impact on growth and profitability within the portfolio.
The team are highly experienced and can offer in-depth knowledge with genuine insight and value, having a wealth of expertise to offer. The team is small and dynamic, and by nature more entrepreneurial. It is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Investment Manager to join the team in London and contribute to all aspects of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Developing investment themes by researching market trends and identifying sectors of interest
- Preparing investment memoranda and financial models
- Working actively across the entire deal process: origination, due diligence, negotiation and execution, as well as post-deal monitoring of investments
- Monitoring existing and potential portfolio assets to support on-going and future investment and strong divestment making decisions
Requirements
- Previous exposure to mid-market transactions likely from CDD or Corporate Finance
- Demonstrable ability to work independently when required, and to be a team player too
- Ambition and drive for investments into the lower mid-market, with a forward-thinking approach for their success
