Job Title: HR Business Partner

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at Totally Local Company. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the business to achieve its objectives by providing expert HR advice and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and work in partnership with business leaders to provide HR advice and guidance.
  • Identify gaps and propose changes to continuously improve performance and employee engagement.
  • Support the development of company policies and HR processes in line with business needs and employment law updates.
  • Manage employee relations cases across the business and provide specialist HR advice and guidance.
  • Build a rapport with recognised trade unions and assist with recruitment, restructuring, change projects, and consultation processes.
  • Coach line managers to manage employee relations issues directly where possible and ensure widespread understanding across the business.
  • Champion equality and diversity across the company.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in employee relations case management and employment law knowledge.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Impeccable time management and organisation skills with a strong eye for detail.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
