Job Summary
The Credit Controller Specialist will be responsible for managing and resolving client debt, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strong analytical mind, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Reduce client current outstanding debtors balance
- Chase payment using professional communication channels
- Deal with and resolve tenant and UAC queries
- Issue invoices, tax receipts, statements, and reminder letters
- Assist in the reconciliation of problem accounts
- Manage query resolution and chase colleagues as required
- Monitor and report on aged debtors reports weekly or as required
- Maintain active communication within the Central Finance team and other internal departments
Requirements
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Self-starter with a strong analytical mind
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Confident with a positive outlook
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage conflict
- Experience in the property services market is desirable
About the Team
The Credit Controller Specialist will be part of a client-focused team of 27 credit controllers, including 4 team leaders and a credit manager. The team works closely with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
