Accounts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team at Abacus Professional Recruitment. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team
Requirements:
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS packages
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) with Mathematics and English at Grade C or above
Desirable Requirements:
  • At least 1 year's experience in an administration role
  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably SAP B1)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of basic accountancy principles
