Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the scenic workshop, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workshop productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Scenic to plan and execute scenic projects, including construction, preparation, and installation.
  • Maintain accurate records of workshop activities, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of scenic elements into overall productions.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in scenic construction and management within the live events industry.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and achieving high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and CAD plans.
  • Strong knowledge of workshop tools and machinery, with experience in carpentry and materials handling.
