Scenic Workshop Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scenic Workshop Manager to join our team at Creative Personnel. As a key member of our scenic construction team, you will be responsible for leading and developing our warehouse and workshop scenic team, including line management.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the day-to-day tasking of the workshop and scenic warehouse team.
- Oversee the construction and preparation process of our equipment to ensure the highest possible standards and deadlines are met.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety in the workshop.
- Manage stock levels of workshop materials and consumables.
- Perform routine maintenance on workshop equipment and tools.
- Collaborate with the Head of Scenic to ensure the best use of department resources.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Assist other departments as needed to meet business objectives.
- At least 5 years' experience in the live events industry with a focus on scenic construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and CAD plans.
- Good working knowledge of workshop tools and machinery.
- Excellent carpentry skills and experience with various materials.
- Experience with CNC machines is an advantage.
- Meticulous planning and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple jobs and work to deadlines.
