Main Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Installation and Maintenance Expert at LSR Support, you will be responsible for managing repairs and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. You will also be involved in mechanical installation on new and used machinery, maintaining equipment maintenance records, and diagnosing faults in an effective and timely manner. Additionally, you will communicate in a professional manner to all customers and communicate any issues or concerns with the Mechanical Supervisor and/or Project Manager. You will also adhere to health and safety practices and be able to work autonomously and take responsibility.

Essential Skills/Criteria:

Experience in industrial fitting and mechanical equipment is essential for this role. You should also have a full UK driving licence and be flexible to work overtime if required. A valid CSR card is preferred, and basic IT and math skills are also necessary. You will also need to be able to read and understand engineering split diagrams and schematics.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced mechanical fitter to work on various maintenance and installation contracts. You will have experience of installing and maintaining mechanical machinery/pumps or similar equipment and be able to work on your own initiative. Good communication and organisational skills are also essential, as well as being a good team player. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal directions and be reliable with good time keeping. You will also need to be able to work to deadlines and take on new skills.
