Main Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Fitter with LSR Support, you will be responsible for managing repairs and ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. You will also be involved in mechanical installation on new and used machinery, maintaining equipment maintenance records, and diagnosing faults in an effective and timely manner. Additionally, you will communicate in a professional manner to all customers and communicate any issues or concerns with the Mechanical Supervisor and/or Project Manager. You will also be required to adhere to health and safety practices and be able to work autonomously and take responsibility.

Essential Skills/Criteria:

You will have experience in industrial fitting and mechanical equipment. You will also have a full UK driving licence and be flexible to work overtime if required. It is also preferred that you have a valid CSR Card and basic IT & Math skills.

About the Role:

You will have experience of installing and maintaining mechanical machinery/pumps or similar equipment. You should be able to read and understand engineering split diagrams and schematics. You will also have a good working knowledge of health and safety in the workplace and excellent attention to detail and accurate record keeping. You will be able to work on your own initiative and be a good team player. You will also be able to follow written and verbal directions and be reliable with good time keeping. You will have the ability to work to deadlines and take on new skills.

LSR Support is a company that performs mechanical/electrical and technical works to the process engineering sector. Our customers range from clients within the renewable energy investment sector and water and wastewater treatment industry. We have significant long-term maintenance contracts and projects throughout Northern Ireland and are looking to recruit another experienced mechanical fitter to work on various maintenance and installation contracts.
